Chennaiyin FC made it 3-0, and it is no way possible for Atletico de Kolkata to turn the game into their way. They are in deep trouble to make way for the final in the game at Balewadi Stadium in Pune on Saturday. It seems there will be no advantage in the second leg as well.

Bruno Pelissari gave the first sizzling goal for Chennaiyin FC in the 39th minute from the direct free-kick to hit the net. This Marvelous shot gone pass the wall and Amrinder Singh, Atletico de Kolkata goal keeper as well. At the start of the match Mendoza hit back to back shots towards goal, but Amrinder was up to it and could not make that time.

The second goal came in the 58th minute for the South Indian team when Amrinder step out of his line as well as the penalty box to halt the hurrying Mendoza. The Indian goal keeper could not match the Colombian’s speed and the game as well.

Mendoza passed the ball to Jeje Lalpekhlua in the penalty box, and an Indian forward stopped it in the past of the net. Jeje passed the ball back to the Mendoza just after ten minutes by hitting towards him at the penalty box. Mendoza succeeded in the given chance and hit the ball towards the goal which passed the Amrinder as well.

This Colombian not only increased his goals in ISL 2015 to 12 but also got the 175th goal in the tournament and became the topper in this season.

Antonio Habas, ATK coach seems to be a worry man as the midfield Borja Fernandes had left the field limping after the Chennaiyin FC first goal. Marco Materazzi even more worried as his team’s star player Mendoza carried out on a stretcher in the second half with a hamstring.

Hope the two players will be fit for the second leg of the game. Atletico de Kolkata has a serious job to do hardly in the second leg.
